Power By Geraldine Anello is a collection of poems from October 2018 to October 2019. It is the second publication in a series of three poetry collections, entitled Truth.
It gives you a glimpse of the author’s love life. As it ever so happens in one’s life, you fall in love; you think everything is working out, and then boom! It’s over.
Did they break up, or did he break her heart by cheating on her? It’s open for interpretation.
If you are a man reading it, you may feel guilty reading some of the lines if you’ve ever done it and if you’re a woman, maybe you can relate to it if something similar has ever happened.
The idea of a poem as a message in a bottle means that it’s sent out towards some future reader, and the reader who opens that bottle becomes the addressee of the literary text.

Comedians and poets and artists, in general, do a good job of internalizing their trauma and experiences to create art. It’s better art than something negative to society.
Adele and Lady Gaga, for example, have sold millions of records from taking inspiration from having their hearts broken while being in a relationship.
The Book is divided into 3 parts Falling in love, breaking up, and then moving on titled as up for the picking, pedestal, and happy.

It’s all lovey-dovey in the beginning you think you are inseparable and perfect for each other and then other elements come into play.

Geraldine Anello
Growing up on a French island near South Africa, Geraldine Anello fell young into the arts.
She started writing songs and poetry in her teenage years, after being a pianist from age 5 -which led to her career as a Broadway pianist and conductor.
Also, a community builder and business owner, she is the founder and leader of the community Handy Women, with over 40,000 members.
Writing the second collection of poetry in New York City, and editing and publishing it in Mexico, Anello takes heartbreak and turns it into self-empowerment.
